Chris Judge is an illustrator, artist, and children’s book author. He lives in Dublin, a city well-known for its cloudy skies.
One evening in the summer of 2020, while confined to his garden, he noticed a pink cloud that resembled a cat. He snapped a photo and, on a whim, sketched simple pencil lines over it. Then he shared it on Twitter and Instagram.
“A Daily Cloud” had just begun.
Today, A Daily Cloud has more than 500,000 followers on Instagram. Anyone can send him a photo of a cloud, and he’ll transform it with his whimsical drawings. And that’s not all—A Daily Cloud has also become a series of signed lithographs on recycled paper, and even a calendar.
